Art & Craft Show

Experience the wonder of a child a Christmas.  Smell the scents of canales, gingerbread, meats and cheeses, fudge and funnel cakes, herbs and apple butter.  Listen to the cheerful tinkle of wind chimes, the low ticking of a grandfather clock, the ringing melody of a dulcimer.  Revel in the colors, the lights, the excitement of the Capital City Art and Craft Show.

Celebrating it's 42nd anniversary as the state's largest indoor exhibition, the Capital City Art and Craft Show features the works of over 160 artisans from West Virginia and several other states.

Something for everyone on your Christmas list can be found among the top-quality one-of-a-kind items you can purchase directly from the craftsmen who created them.  These artisans often show works-in-progress and provide demonstrations of their unique skills.

Long lines are never a problem a the shows Charleston Civic Center location, so convenient to parking and 3 interstate highways.  That's why more that 20,000 visitors return year after year in November for the Friday through Sunday event.

Expect the unusual - from fused glass that copies quilt patterns for jewelry to furniture that includes children's rockers, cabinets and Shaker-style tables, from dolls to decorated jackets, from hand carved knives and walking canes to handmade paper, hand-knit sweaters and hand-painted shirts.
